Scuba Diving in Nusa Penida

Deep Roots was nothing short of magical... from the moment we arrived every tiny detail had been thought through by the lovely owners who we had the pleasure of meeting. Set in beautiful mountain side gardens, with surreal sunsets from the rooms balcony. The food & drinks were delicious with ample choice, the staff continued to make the whole experience effortless and relaxing, catering to our every need. We did the most incredible yoga sessions with Jen, a dive refresher and fun dives with Beth who was so much fun, getting to seeing Manta Rays! We cannot recommend this little slice of paradise at Deep Roots enough, we can't wait to come back :)

One of the best experiences we have ever had. The attention to detail and care is exemplary at Deep roots. Right from the little handwritten welcome note to each and every instance of help we received from the staff, the experience was top notch and extremely special. Sudiana from the reception especially made sure our stay was exceptional and helped us with every single request we made. It was my partner's birthday and he organised a surprise for us with a cake and song at the restaurant which made the whole experience very wholesome. The restaurant staff are very friendly and they make you feel right at home. Overall great service and the resort also brings you very close to nature. The soothing sounds and gentle atmosphere surely uplifted our holidays. Recommend 10/10

Second time at Deep Roots, and I can honestly say I gave it 5 stars last time, but this time it needs more!!! The food, entertainment, and ambience of the place is amazing. I also used the dive facilities, and they are excellent. I would recommend a stay to all my friends if they were going to NP

If you're looking for the best Nusa Penida has to offer, look no further. Everything detail at Deep Roots has been considered with thoughtful care, from the design of beautiful private cabins and gardens, to the wonderful restaurant beside the serene infinity pool, and the top-notch dive shop - all with stunning views of Mount Agung just across the Bali Sea. The staff are so generous and kind, going above and beyond to take care of you. I especially enjoyed the rejuvenating Balinese massage in my room and 4 fantastic dives on what is likely the nicest, safest, and least crowded dive boat on the island. Special thanks to Chris, Louis, and Hesky on the dive team, Sudiana at the reception, Dewi in the restaurant, and Antara for their extra care.
