Deep Roots Nusa Penida Resort was born from a profound love and respect for the community and the outdoors. Two simple elements, a leaf and a fish, incorporate our ethos to bring us back to nature, closer to each other, and also back to ourselves. The leaf represents grounding and connection, captured through the ground on which our resort was built, which still retains its original trees, terraces and roots. We share this land with the community that planted the first trees here, and who will still be here long after they fall and new ones take their place. The fish represents our love for the ocean. The treasure trove of life below the surface of Nusa Penida’s coastal waters is what we strive to conserve and share with you.
